I come from a great deal of experience. I’ve been doing SEO professionally since 2017 and personally since 2010. Naturally, I apply my experience when using Zizta’s optimizations and selecting keywords.

Running an SEO agency comes with its set of challenges, from keeping up with Google’s algorithm updates to finding versatile tools that deliver. My tenure in SEO, spanning over a decade, has been a relentless quest for excellence. 

Despite achieving 6X the consultations within the first year of work, this IP law firm’s traffic later went stagnant.

We were at a crossroads. Stagnant traffic is an alarm bell for SEO agencies. It signals the need for a strategy overhaul.

But that was 2020, and this is now. This niche has evolved. The law firm didn’t survive several Google Core Updates, and within the past year, their organic traffic kept dropping…and dropping…and dropping.

  • After carefully trimming the articles down to 1000-2000 words on average, and constantly rechecking it to preserve keywords, Content Optimizer still rated the articles 80 to 90%+. 
  • We also removed keywords & entities that were either a) irrelevant to the topic or b) services the client didn’t offer. Compared to other tools, we’ve found in Zizta that irrelevant keywords are in a tiny minority.

So even after the edits, we’d still end up with an article that’s both fully SEO-optimized and engaging & relevant to readers.

  • Tripled clicks and impressions for one article.

  • MASSIVELY spiked impressions for another, despite fierce competition.

And here’s the graph from said fiercely competitive query. While in this keyword you need an ungodly amount of referring domains (and backlink power) to have any expectations of getting clicks, the client doesn’t have the budget for that. Even so, the spike in impressions is staggering:

Keyword Strategy

SEO testers I follow have observed topical relevancy within a single page as a major ranking factor of late. 

Zizta’s topical focus is tight. There are a lot of tools that apply NLP analysis, but whatever Zizta is doing with it is next-level. It reads the search results and gives you back a combination of single words, phrases and entities that are best fit to the overarching theme of any query. 

It’s also given me fewer errors or irrelevant terms than any other on-page SEO tool I’ve found. While it’s still an SEO’s responsibility to sort through junk data, I found I’ve had to do that much less with Content Optimizer than elsewhere. In many cases, it’s almost minimal. 

Strategic Thinking

I’ve found Zizta is as close as it gets to a magic bullet for ranking. With that, tools don’t replace the strategic thinking at the heart of SEO.

Someone asked me “how long will it take to rank on page 1 with this tool?” And my response? It would be deceptive of me to guarantee any such timeline. 

My personal journey is that while Zizta is a magic potion, the real magic lies in how we wield Zizta. 

  • We carefully considered the search intent and how the optimized content blended in with what was already there. 
  • We trimmed stuff that didn’t belong. 

And beyond a shadow of a doubt, putting in this thinking drastically improved the outcomes in terms of real user activity.
