Case Study: Zizta Content Optimizer Helps Educational Pro Prepare for Admissions Season

My favorite classrooms are the ones where theory meets practice. And here we go – another day, another SEO case study where theory meets practice. What else but Zizta’s Content Optimizer and its “Write For Me” feature to brighten up someone’s day!

This challenge involved an international educational consulting firm who struggled to continue capturing attention in a fiercely competitive digital landscape.

Background

Previous SEO results were very good for this client, but they had to stop. Now, they’ve restarted right on the edge of the admissions season in September.

Students

There came a pressing need for a robust solution. The schools they send students to fill up quickly, and this firm needs to get first in line to make sure those kids are well-prepared.

Enter Zizta’s Content Optimizer—a chance to breathe new life into old content grappling with the relentless pace of Google’s algorithm updates.

DISCLAIMER

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… There are no guarantees when it comes to ranking. The #1 SEO tool is your head. To anticipate results, you need to understand how Google treats different queries.

I come from a great deal of experience. I’ve been doing SEO professionally since 2017 and personally since 2010. Naturally, I apply my experience when using Zizta’s optimizations and selecting keywords.

As an SEO, you have to stay abreast of the algorithms and understand that results WILL vary depending on the keyword, the competition and the site’s history. For example:

    • If you apply Content Optimizer to a page, and it spikes, only to drop a few days later, that’s a sure sign you need backlinks and referring domains to rank for this query.

    • If your domain is new, it needs to get a crawl budget (or “get out of the sandbox”) before it can expect to have instantaneous results of ANY kind. This is expected with search engines. You have to help Google develop a relationship with the site.

With that in consideration, I’ve found no optimizer that’s both as user-friendly AND effective as Zizta’s Write for Me. And consistent across articles. Not even close.

Methodology

We focused on content that was underperforming after months away. We utilized Zizta’s capabilities to enhance their SEO value without sacrificing readability.

In my process, I carefully edit Write for Me’s 4000-5000 word output to a much healthier and more readable 1000-2000 words. It still retains 80-90%+ of the optimization score, which in my world is enough for an article to expand its keyword reach.

The essence of our approach was selective—focusing on content with potential, and applying Zizta’s optimizations in a way that melded with our comprehensive SEO understanding.

Results Achieved

The impact was immediate and measurable. An article optimized in early October showcased a remarkable uptick in traffic, CTR, and clicks—a testament to the tool’s effectiveness:

More intriguing was the feedback from a user who discovered our client through a ChatGPT query. Zizta doesn’t directly go beyond traditional search, but this & results we’ve seen elsewhere have shown AI search is a rising trend. If content could make it into AI search and it gets leads as an indirect result of the Content Optimizer, you sure bet a tool like this is worth your time!

If you have any doubts about the Average Position comparison in the video:

That results naturally from a significant increase in queries (search terms) Google shows the article for. It can skew the average number somewhat.

Balanced Perspective

Success stories are encouraging, but again, SEO is never a guarantee. The achievements we experienced with Zizta underline its utility as part of an overarching, well-thought-out SEO strategy. It’s crucial to remember that search engines change. What works today might need adjustment tomorrow.

While I believe Content Optimizer is as close as one can get to a “magic bullet” for SEO, its true power is fully realized when used by those who understand the intricacies of SEO.

To those considering Zizta, view it as a tool to amplify, not replace, your strategic efforts.
